S&P 500 4073,94 -3,97.

The stock market finished the 1st quarter and started the second one on a strong note although internal momentum as measured by the cumulative advance/decline line lost some momentum, on the NYSE and on the Nasdaq this indicator has not recovered its previous highs. Options traders are again back by piling up on calls. On the sentiment’s front, it is interesting to note a divergence between private investors who are very bullish whereas professional active portfolio managers have adopted a cautious stance towards the future direction of the market, that may be link to the recent scandals surrounding the hedge funds industry.
