S&P 500 3909,52 +20,38.

A late afternoon rally lifted prices up to the close. Bargain hunters stepped into the market as measured by our buying/selling index. Options activity was back to a fairly neutral level. The most negative aspect lately is the list of stocks hitting fresh 52 weeks lows on the Nasdaq and the NYSE, the cumulative advance/decline line has also faltered recently. This means that internal momentum has lost power recently. On the other hand, some of our sentiment indicators improved like the weekly survey among active professional portfolio managers that points out to some cautiousness regarding the future course of the market among this category of market participants.
