S&P 500 3910,52 -30,07.

Prices retreated on heavy selling pressure on the NYSE as measured by our buying/selling index and our capitulation index. Is the financial bubble on high flying stocks and small caps indexes like the Russell 2000 starting to deflate? The next trading sessions will be interesting to watch and we may again observe a sector rotation but this time into some defensive stocks and even into blue chips tech stocks. Breadth closed deeply into the red: 964 stocks advanced compared to 3245 that settled down. It is interesting to note that on the Nasdaq and on the NYSE the list of stocks hitting 52 weeks lows outpaced the list of new highs.
