Sector rotation continues and the Nasdaq composite index led the pack again on the downside after a strong opening for the Dow Industrials. Selling pressure accelerated towards the closing bell. Breadth closed barely changed : 1915 stocks advanced compared to 1988 that settled down. Options traders are still active accumulating calls to play the upside of the market. One of our daily sentiment measure continues to be stuck in the 80 % area, historically reflecting a high level of complacency from investors.
