The stock market sold off again at the opening before recovering, certainly helped by short covering before a long week-end. Some of our indicators improved slightly: we observed some moderation in the option market as traders were less eager to buy aggressively calls. On the other hand, we haven’t observed mass selling as measured by our buying/selling index and our capitulation index. Our short term trading model has started to turn down, that hasn’t happened for a long time.
