The stock market advanced on strong breadth : 3280 stocks ended up compared to 640 that settled down. Options traders continued to buy calls agressively deteriorating the put/call ratios to levels rarely seen, a sign of speculation not to ignore. Other daily sentiment indicators also reached some kind of extremes whereas private investors are still rather cautious regarding their expectations of the future uptrend of the market.
