Simon Johnson, lauréat du prix Nobel d'économie en 2024 et ancien économiste en chef du Fonds monétaire international, est professeur à la Sloan School of Management du MIT et coauteur (avec Daron Acemoglu) de l’ouvrage intitulé Power and Progress: Our Thousand-Year Struggle Over Technology and Prosperity (PublicAffairs, 2023). Il est aussi co-auteur du livre White House Burning: The Founding Fathers, Our National Debt, and Why It Matters to You.
