A quiet trading day in terms of volatility but interesting things happened below the surface. We observed a lot of buying pressure as measured by various measures, our fear/greed index reached a rare reading that historically coincided with a sell signal. A warning sign to watch closely over the next few days. The ten-day oscillator based on the advance/decline line is overbought and options traders are everyday increasing their purchase of calls. Speculation is back on so called meme stocks like AMC.
