S&P 500 3179,72 + 49,71.

The stock market opened on a strong note following Asia’s surge, led, as always, by the same leaders in the tech industry, and neglecting the scary coronavirus outbreak in many states. We observed heavy buying pressure as measured by our buying/selling index, lots of activity among options traders still buying calls with avidity and decent breadth: 2804 stocks advanced compared to 1092 that settled down. Some major indexes are flirting with breakout level although some sectors are weak like the banking sector.
