S&P 500 3349,16 +21,39.

The stock market continued to advance steadily although breadth wasn’t impressive on the NYSE and on the Nasdaq. On the NYSE, only 1992 stocks advanced compared to 1835 that settled down. The story is always the same in the option market, traders are buying calls like crazy. Some of our put/call ratios are at the lowest level for years. The weekly sentiment survey among active professional portfolio managers points out again to a very high level of optimism and complacency among this category of investors, this is confirmed by the daily sentiment indicator on the NYSE.
