S&P 500 4124,66 -16,93.

A day characterized by some profit taking, breadth wasn’t that impressive: 2443 stocks advanced on the NYSE compared to 1705 that declined. Options trading was fairly neutral, the Vix index continues to trade lower and a daily sentiment index is still hovering around the highs of its historic trading range. The complacency observed among various market participants is confirmed by the weekly survey among private investors: the bull to bear ratio stands at 2,20, 54% of the respondents have a bullish view of the future direction of the market, again a percentage at the top of the historic range and somehow a warning sign.
