Surprisingly, after an initial swift selloff at the opening, the stock market rallied strongly to close the day in the green. Nevertheless, on the Nasdaq, 1344 stocks reached new lows out of 5107 securities traded. Despite the circumstances, bargain hunters are still chasing «opportunities» as measured by the buying/selling index on the Nasdaq. Options trading is rather neutral and the bull to bear ratio stands below 59%, a rather positive reading.
