A very quiet trading day in Wall Street with subdued activity and volatility. The S&P 500 crept gently higher to close finally above the famous 3000 pivot point. Breadth settled on a strong note: 2457 stocks advanced compared to 1264 that settled down. It is worth noting that the cumulative advance/decline line surpassed its previous highs, confirming a strong internal momentum. The market may well again stand in a position to test the September highs. Most of our indicators are neutral.
