The stock market opened lower on renewed US-China trade tension before recovering toward the close, the Nasdaq composite index being the strongest. Breadth closed slightly up: 2244 stocks advanced compared to 1592 that settled dow. Options traders are still tilted to play the upside of the market by purchasing calls. For the time being, most of our indicators are hovering around the neutral + level without any clear trend.
