The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite Index closed the week at a record level with a firework lauched for Alphabet (+10%). This was the week of the tech sector. Breadth settled on a strong note: 2482 stocks advanced compared to 1206 that settled down. Most indicators closed at a fairly neutral. On the negative side, there is a slight divergence between the evolution of the major indexes that hit new highs and the cumulative advance/decline line that is consolidating at a high level.
