GAFAM’s stocks took the lead after a period of consolidation back to last September. Their heavy weighting’s in indexes had a deep impact on prices. The trend may continue if momentum buying follows through looking for fresh ideas to play on. Our indicators still paint the same picture, they are overbought on almost any measures, options traders continue to play aggressively the upside of the market by accumulating calls. Internal momentum measured by the daily breadth and the cumulative advance/decline line continue to be strong.
