S&P 500 4’470 -26,19.

The stock market closed at the low of the day after the release of the news of a terrorist attack in Kabul. Breadth settlked on a weak note: 838 stocks advanced compared to 2’454 that settled down. Nevertheless, stocks hitting fresh new highs outpaced the list of new lows. Options trading closed fairly neutral with a slight bias to the hedging side.
