The stock market continues to tread water in a tight range between 2600 and 2700 on the S&P 500 and it may well continues until the market finds a new equilibrum and the necessary conditions for a solid bottom. We observed, for the last trading day of the month, heavy selling pressure, as measured by our buying/selling index. Hedging activity increased slightly in the option market although there is still some room for improvement.
