Cynically, the stock market cheered the record unemployment rate and rose strongly with strong breadth and volume: 3250 stocks advanced on the NYSE whereas 667 declined. We start to monitor some kind of greed and euphoria among market participants as measured by some of our indicators like our buying/selling, index, fear/greed index and our capitulation index. In the option market, traders are more and more willing to take again risks by buying calls to play the upside of the market. This has pushed our risk profile index to the highest level since the start of the crisis.
