A strange day for the democracy in the USA… In the stock market, sector rotation continues from tech to cyclicals and financials. Buying pressure settled at a high level as measured by our daily buying/selling index and our capitulation index. Options traders were again active, put/call ratios deteriorated sharply but internal momentum is still strong on a daily basis: 2653 stocks advanced compared to 1514 that settled down. The cumulative advance/decline line reached a new high and finally, the weekly investment survey among private investors point out to a decrease of the percentage of bulls although the bull to bear ratio is still elevated.
