The tech sector suffered heavy losses at the opening following the announcement of sanctions against Huawei before recovering slightly towards the close. The scenario of a retest of the 2800 support area is still valid. Our risk profile index is heading into the right direction although it hasn’t reached an extreme yet. Selling pressure, measured by our various indexes, and the hedging activity in the option market wasn’t as tepid as variations of prices would have suggested.
